European Union
The European Union is a major player in research and innovation. Its goals are the development of research infrastructures, of collaborations, of publicly-accessible high level data bases, etc. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions aim to train scientists by encouraging mobility in Europe. The prestigious European Research Council (ERC) grants are given to ambitious projets rated at the highest international level.
