Administrative and technical group

IPAG’s Administrative and Technical group includes 5 departments, organized by activity, under the joint direction of the Technical Director and the Administrative Director.

The technical services develop technologies such as high contrast imaging and associated signal processing, fast detection for wave surface analysis, large format near-infrared detectors, deformable mirrors, opto-mechanical design, integration and system understanding of large instruments. The Administrative and Technical group is involved beyond IPAG: at the Observatoire de Grenoble (OSUG), at the intensive computing and data infrastructure GRICAD or at the Centre Spatial Universitaire de Grenoble.

The administrative branch and the Information System and Scientific Computing department have transversal activities which allow, on a continuous basis, the good functioning of IPAG.

Finally, a Method and Tools axis, transverse to the 5 services, under the governance of the Technical Director and the Administrative Director and a facilitator favours the implementation of methods and associated tools, with the aim of improving the functioning of the laboratory and promoting the quality approach.
