The full documentation is not yet available. In the meantime, here are some lecture notes based on a series of three lectures given at the Astrosim doctoral school held at CINES in 2020, France.

Lecture I presents a general description the main numerical methods used in PIC codes.

Lecture II describes the general structure and the numerical methods used in the Zeltron code.

Lecture III focuses on the boundary conditions and the overall parallelization strategy.
