Special Issue of CRAS (Comptes-Rendus de l'Académie des Sciences) on the CMB The context: The CMB anisotropy measurements are now routinely done and important new results are announced almost every month. It is timely to review what has been achieved and what are the cosmological prospects in this field for the next ten years. The French CMB community and invited authors give here a broad review of international results and future experiments. It is addressed to a non-specialized broad audience of physicists. Here is a list of possible articles that could form a consistent Issue. Author list on each article has to be completed according to response to this call. Each article should contain a review on the subject and a section on future prospects. The COBE milestone Boomerang results Maxima results Archeops results Interferometer results MAP results The Planck milestone Map-making techniques Cosmological Parameter extraction: methods Extragalactic foregrounds: the distant Universe Galactic emission: seeing through the Galaxy Polarization experiments CMB Polarization as complementary information to anisotropies. The inflationary universe: CMB constraints The CMB in the context of other cosmological measurements Latex flexible instructions will be posted later. Articles should roughly contain between 4 to 8 pages in English.
