About these numerical solutions

The numerical self-similar wind solution which can be downloaded from this web page are a sub-sample of the solutions described in Lesur (2021) (link to be coming). Each solution for a particular set of parameter is found in a single .dat containing the field value as a function of the latitudinal angle theta. A python script is provided to demonstrate how one can plot streamlines and fieldlines of the chosen dataset. To use it, simply launch the script with a python3 interpreter with the name of the desire dataset in argument, e.g.:

python3 beta=1.0e+05-Am=1-Rm=inf.dat

This should lead to 2D streamplots as the ones shown here:

All the datasets and the script mentionned above are included in a .zip which will be downloaded on your computer once you have registered below. This regisration allows you to be kept informed when solutions are updated and stops bots from copying the datasets to random websites.
