Disk opacity

The total optical depth in the equatorial plane (from the star to the observer) at 1 µm is 9.42 105 for the most massive disk. (M = 10-5Msun). The optical depth is 1131 for an inclination of 80 degrees (from pole-on) and 0.088 for an inclination of 70 degrees.

The midplane opacity at 1 µm then goes from τ ~ 103 to τ ~ 106 as the disk mass increases.
