The Very Large Telescope Interferometer is undergoing many exciting developments. In particular, the GRAVITY+ instrumental upgrade is underway, allowing optical interferometry to provide unprecedented direct observations of exoplanets at high contrast. Over the past few years, we have seized every aspects from the instrumentation to the data reduction and data analysis to enable observations of young giant exoplanets with smaller masses and in orbits down to the astronomical unit. Thanks to GRAVITY+, we are at the dawn of a major harvest of direct observation of exoplanets that will help us understand how planetary system form, and how they evolve.
