POKER: an angular power spectrum estimator for
arbitrary high resolution maps and complex masks.
In order to measure the angular power spectrum of the Cosmic
Infrared Background in any experiment, we needed a tool that could
handle higher angular resolutions than those involved in CMB
experiments. We also needed to deal with complex masks to remove
bright foreground sources. In 2011, in collaboration with J. Grain
and G. Lagache, we developed such a tool, that we nicknamed POKER, the
"P. Of K. EstimatoR". It is fully described in Ponthieu
et al, (2011), it was used in particular in Planck
collab. (2011) and Planck
collab. (2014). Is is freely available, under a GNU General
Public Licence and can be downloaded on the POKER
website.
